The plebeians are basically the common people. That is most of the population and the ones who are normally the lower paying jobs. The plebeians are basically the lower class of today and the lower middle class. The patricians are the wealthy people that could have more power. They are the upper class of today. They will own most of the land and have large lots of land.

Republic- a gov't that puts the power into the peoples hands and allows them to vote for their leaders. Patrician- wealthy land owners who had most of the power Plebeian- the common people who made up most of the population Tribune- people who were voted on that protected the rights of the common people Consul- king like people that directed the army and the gov't Senate-aristocratic branch of the gov't Dictator- a leader who had all the power to make laws and command the army Legion- large military groups Punic Wars-  Rome and Carthage fighting Hannibal- Carthagian general

My essay is going to be about the greek gods and goddess and how it affected them. In paragraph 1 I will explain the greek goddesses and gods and go in depth with what they are-like Zeus and how he is the god of lightning. In paragraph 2 I will explain what the greeks did to worship them.-like holding religious festivals And paragraph number 3 I will explain how it affected them-like they prayed because if they were punished they felt as if it was from the gods.

The first picture is a Parthenon, the building was dedicated to the greek goddess Athena. The contraction began in 447 BC. This was built when the Athenian empire was at its peek when it had a lot of power. The lower picture is the Temple of Apollo. Dedicated to the god Apollo. It was the third temple built at the same place. It is located in Delphi.

1) The drama that were usually played in the theaters back then was Tragedy and Comedies. 2)For the production of a play the had someone write the play just like they do today. And then they filled their roles of a bad guy and a hero. Both Greek and todays films use costumes and makeup. 3)  This was their theatre, it is kind of like bleachers today and they would all watch the middle. The preformed and normally the siting was almost 180 degrees.
