Western Civ Day 1

Today was the first day of Western Civ so we were greeted and given assigned seats. Mr. Schick talked about the textbook that we will use and how it doesn't leave the room. He also talked about how we are using a flipped teaching method. We also were told about the blog post and how we turn them in everyday we have class. We also have them graded for 2 points everyday we have class. We set up our blogs and sent him the links. We also bookmarked his link that we need to see his blogs. We were told what to do if we are absent or sick. Mr. Schick also talked about how we need a note book. He also talked about how we don't normally have to write everything on the screen. Again we asked a lot of questions that we had and how he teaches his class. We learned about how he doesn't give participation points because introverts are punished while extroverts are awarded just because of their personalities.
